FIGHTING HIV AND AIDS
Fighting HIV AND AIDS-After more than 10 years of fighting
the HIV pandemic in the South Rift region we've created more and more expansive testing
and prevention programs where a total of Two hundred thousand plus individuals have been
reached through community-based testing
SKILLS INFUSION
The skills infusion program has enabled us to reach over
Five Hundred Youths where have been able to learn essential skills like computer
packages, Piano, Guitar, Photography, and Videography. Which in turn has enabled them to
take advantage of the program and explore their skills
TB PREVENTION
Through our efforts, we have been able to trace over a
thousand individuals and over Two
Hundred under-five living with TB, and through our TB prevention program they have been
able to get medication
easily.
KYC awarded AMREF TB Grant 2021 - 2024
Our KYC (Know Your Customer) process was successfully
completed for the Global Fund
Tuberculosis Grant 2021-2024, enabling us to implement critical TB-related activities in
Bomet County. This grant
will support efforts to reduce the burden of tuberculosis through enhanced diagnosis,
treatment, and prevention
programs, ensuring that communities in Bomet receive the care and support they need to
combat TB. We are committed
to improving health outcomes and contributing to global TB elimination goals with this
strategic partnership and
funding.
